Foreman – Overhead/URD

Position Summary
Greenstone Electrical Services is seeking a skilled Foreman – Overhead/URD to lead crews in the installation and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical cables. This role ensures crew safety, oversees daily operations, and maintains high standards of quality and efficiency across job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead crews in overhead electrical construction and maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and job prints.
- Supervise site activities, employee performance, and safety compliance.
- Install poles, anchors, transformers, switches, and other electrical components.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on energized and de-energized systems.
- Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct daily JSAs and weekly safety inspections.
- Coordinate permits, materials, and utility locates.
- Track employee hours, inventory, and billing documentation.
- Train new hires and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of recent field experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- CDL or ability to obtain a permit within 60 days.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in extreme conditions.
- Proficiency in line construction and electrical safety standards.
- Experience operating heavy equipment and performing aerial tasks.
